How Maxilin was Developed - the Story
The origins of Maxilin are inspired by a fascinating story that stretches back more than 150 years.
According to historical accounts, nomadic herders in Central Asia stored milk and meat in natural lamb-gut casings and noticed that their food stayed fresh for longer than expected. Although they couldn’t explain why, they believed something naturally present was helping to protect it.
Scientists later discovered that beneficial bacteria play an important role in maintaining a healthy balance within the gut. Some of these resilient strains are also found naturally in the human digestive system from the earliest stages of life, helping to establish a healthy gut microbiome.
Over time, researchers continued to study these unique bacteria, identifying strains capable of surviving challenging conditions where many others could not. This work eventually led to the development of the proprietary bacterial strain used in Maxilin.
Today, Maxilin combines this long history of scientific exploration with modern biotechnology to deliver a resilient synbiotic designed to support a balanced gut microbiome as part of a healthy lifestyle.
